The five-piece Canadian band, STARS, made its mark in Jakarta on the first leg of their Asian tour last Friday. Here's a look back at what happened that night.

On the first leg of their Asian tour, acclaimed Canadian band, STARS, delivered musical energy to Jakartans last Friday. The group took the centre stage at Energy Building, SCBD, bringing their major hits such as Ageless Beauty, Your Ex-Lover is Dead and Take Me to the Riot. Hosted by Prasvana who brought Mac Demarco and The Jungle Giants, the concert was opened by local band Scaller who warmed up the audience with their alternative rock music.

After 16 years of experience of making music and onstage performances, STARS never fails to deliver. With Torquill Campbell as the front man and members Chris Seligman, Evan Cranley, Amy Millan and Patrick McGee, the five-piece band has produced seven albums (No One is Lost was their latest, out in 2014) with an evolved genre throughout their music history.
