Jakarta Architecture Triennale 2015

Jakarta Architecture Triennale (JAT) arrives on its third year as they bring Indonesian architecture to the fore from November 15th to December 13th.

Jakarta Architecture Triennale, the most awaited architectural event in Indonesia, arrives for the third time from November 15th to December 13th. Held every three years by Indonesian Institute of Architects (Ikatan Arsitek Indonesia or IAI), the festival brings Locality, Playful & Innovation as this year’s theme, as it attempts to promote Indonesian architecture’s potential to the full.

Indonesian architecture, abound with deep cultural values, is constantly innovating. And that’s the very thing this year’s JAT wants to focus on through a number of exhibitions, talks and workshops. A particular highlight is the exhibition, Design & Construction Technology Innovation and Playful Urban Intervention that are taking place at Jakarta Kota Railway Station (BEOS), other railway stations (Stasiun Sudirman and Stasiun Palmerah) and public parks in Jakarta (Taman Tebet, Taman Ayodya, Taman Fatahillah).
