First birthday is definitely an important milestone that anyone can attest to. And when Indoestri, the creative “self-maker” space, turned one last weekend, one can be sure that it was a joyous celebratory occasion. The two-day event also highlighted the attributes that Indoestri is well-known for.
Rather than the usual dinner party, Indoestri threw Pasar Indoestri, a tight-knit market where it highlighted local brands and craftsmen, such as Kana Goods, Ayu Larasati’s ceramics as well as coffee from Coffee Smith. Of course, the celebration was rounded off by a slew of creative workshops from live demo of Ukulele making, letterpress to DSLR film making.
