Following its first Jakarta store at ASHTA District 8, Swiss sportswear brand On has opened a larger location at Plaza Indonesia, spanning two storeys. Its biggest store in Indonesia brings the brand’s performance footwear and apparel together with a broader lifestyle offering.
Running shoes remain central to the selection, but there’s also plenty for life beyond the track, from tennis and training apparel to everyday footwear and the All Day collection. Inside, red lava rocks across the store add a subtle reference to Indonesia’s volcanic landscape.
The first floor brings together On’s running, tennis and outdoor collections, with apparel grouped into suggested pairings. Further along, a dedicated wall puts running shoes front and centre, with familiar lines like the Cloudmonster arranged alongside guides that help visitors navigate the range. Whether they’re looking for a shoe for everyday runs, 5K or 10K distances, or race day, the labels offer a starting point for finding the right fit.
Upstairs, the focus shifts towards everyday wear, with On’s All Day collection featuring shoes like the Cloud 6 alongside fitness and gym apparel from the Train line. The floor also includes the brand’s young movers collection for kids, extending the selection to younger members of the family. Visitors can also find some of On’s latest collaborations here, including its collection co-created with Zendaya. Python prints across bodysuits and long-sleeved tops bring a bolder visual element to the range, displayed alongside more relaxed pieces such as sweatpants and shirts.
Throughout the store, a restrained interior, with clean aluminium walls, subtle rattan-inspired textures and red lava rocks, gives the different collections room to stand out. Across its two floors, the layout moves from performance footwear and apparel to everyday styles, reflecting the different ways movement fits into city life.
