Bottega Ristorante has moved to the heart of Senopati Central Business District (SCBD). But compared to its previous spot in Mega Kuningan, the latest establishment differs greatly in terms of its space. Looking at its humble entrance, one could be easily fooled by the size of its premise. But once inside, the corridor opens up to the main area that is far from narrow.
Visitors that come as a pair can be seated comfortably in round tables opposite the bar, while those who come in groups, like the arisan (social gathering for a form of microfinance) ladies can opt for one of their booth or a larger table. The interior is definitely polished, where it’s finished with wood-panelled walls, gold rim touch, and a mixture of wood and olive green leather banquette seating. This is clearly a sophisticated establishment to nurse a drink or a bite to eat in grace.
On offer is a comprehensive blend of modern European cuisines. With an extensive menu to choose from, the favorites among the mains are Porcini Coffee Rubbed Steak, Penne Alla Vodka (tossed and marinated with salmon chunks) and thin crust pizzas that caters to everyone’s needs for different occasions.
If you’re in the mood for something light, fresh vibrant starter like Steak Tacos with Corn Salsa or Char Grilled Octopus (with Chimichurri sauce and charred baby corn) is up on offering. To tie up loose ends one could opt for their Flourless Hazelnut Chocolate Cake (using hazelnut flour) or Tiramisu.
On the weekend, Bottega is filled with people who come to unwind and indulge in a full course meal. But if food is not on your agenda, you can always turn to their classic cocktails to end the nightout. Their lavish décor might induce certain intimidation. But once order is placed and with a house cocktail in hand, you’ll soon forgot why you feel that way in the first place. Whether you’re there for a quick bite or catching up with friends over drinks, Bottega will certainly whisk you off in style.
