Originally only available through local stockists and online, Public Culture has now opened their first brick and mortar shop in Jakarta. Located over at Kemang Selatan, the streetwear brand share its building with the brand’s headquarters.
Since 2015, Public Culture celebrates various cultures through their collections that are aimed at youth. Expect colourful, playful as well as cheeky pieces that are pulled from their surroundings. For example, Public Culture’s staff appeared on some of the pieces in the form of print or illustrated figures on t-shirts.
Fan of Public Culture can get their hands on the label’s collection, from the previous season pieces right to the newest items at the store. With a minimalist interior, the attention is placed solely on the items on the rack, allowing patrons to browse around in leisure. Apart from the label’s own offerings, there’s also a selection of footwear from Eleven Supply, giving you the option to dress yourself up from head to toe with a whole new look.
