Fans of Sophie Authentique will no doubt know what’s in it for them. From toothsome pastries, cakes to heftier choices like salmon quiche, the establishment is all about the necessity of slow mornings and idle afternoons. The sprawling space also means there are plenty of spots for one to plonk themselves in – counter seat facing the window, a quiet corner by the wall and, of course, their signature wooden hanging swing chair.
The best part? The Cikajang branch will open its door until midnight on Friday and Saturday. Now the night cats of Jakarta have an extra, not to mention wholesome, alternative to while away the night.
