Here’s the show coverage of The GOODS Dept.’s SS17 fashion showcase that aimed at empowering womanhood.

The well-known local multi-label concept store The GOODS Dept. has collaborated with a handful of labels in presenting their latest fashion showcase, Rabbel-Rousel, for Plaza Indonesia Fashion Week 2017.

With woman empowerment in mind, the showcase responds to the current zeitgeist of modern feminism, like the recent Women’s March Movement that is shown through a collective of labels, including Aesthetic Pleasure, Tam Illi, Wilsen William and Argyle & Oxford.

Apart from the ready to wear casual wear, The GOODS Dept. has also assigned four female artists and designers (Ponzy from Aesthetic Pleasure, Cagi from SRW, Fashion Director Ajeng Svastiari and Illustrator Ykha Amelz), to customise a leather jacket each for the runway, which will be auctioned off after show.
